Go see a man about a horse

Every ridden a horse along a glacier fed river? Even if you have never ridden before (like me), this adventure is worth it! The family run business called Alaska Horse Adventures, is a few minutes down the road from Jim Creek parking area, and offers a variety of rides year round. They are very kind and helpful with those of us folks not used to horses. A short trek through the forest, along sand dunes, and up the river brings you to an amazing view of Knick Glacier.
