Worth the wait...

We've all heard of those places that people will wait hours to eat at, or they line up before opening to get a seat. Who would have thought quiet Girdwood, Alaska would host one such place?! Double Musky is an icon in this area - it was one of the first places recommended to us when we moved up here. Steak, lobster, lamb, and halibut are just a few of the items on the menu. Down the road we went, and found it was a 2 hours wait with no reservations taken. Luckily, a wonderful local stopped us on our way out and told us the secret - get in line before they open. Now we happily wait outside for 30-45 minutes and it's ALWAYS worth it.
